Curious World Website
Curious World

Description

This website was designed and constructed for the parent.  The focus of the site is to help the parent not only assess their child’s development but also aid in their growth.  This is achieved through a catalog of digital “Flashcards” that the user may flip through.  Each card gives the user a quick game, test, or activity for their child to do and alerts the parent to what their child should be able to do through the card user interface. Each category is separated into learning areas to better round out the child’s knowledge. The parent is then given the opportunity to upload digital media showcasing their child’s achievement and allowing them to share that with their social network.

Also included on the site are carefully crafted gift boxes that the user may purchase for a child that focuses on each of the core learning areas that the Flashcards cover.  A blog helps to deliver important information the parent may use to help aid in their child’s development and growth.

The main function of the site is to help parents assess their child’s development and growth while offering them ways to assist where possible.
