A website designed and built with a focus on 3-8 year old users. The target viewing device was Tablet computers while also catering to Mobile and Desktop machines. With a focus on child learning and growth through curiosity and play, the website’s key goal is to serve media rich games and interactions geared towards extending the play past just one-off games. Built into the user interface are hidden “easter eggs” for the user to explore and learn from while the site owner is capable of changing the website theme to one of seventeen custom subjects which keeps the site content dynamic.
Also included are sections for caregivers and education professionals to explore child focused activities and learn more about the products available from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
The website was nominated for a Webby in 2014 for its achievements in Family and ParentingView Live Design
